Teryila Ubwa is a seasoned Development Finance and Business Professional with over a decade of expertise in managing multi-million-dollar portfolios, facilitating impactful partnerships, and driving social development initiatives. Armed with global insights and a robust educational background, she holds a BSc in Business Administration from Geneva College, USA, and an MSc in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship from the University of Manchester, UK. She is deeply committed to creating sustainable growth and resilience in underserved communities.
Currently serving as the Regional Director for West Africa at Partners Worldwide, a U.S.-based non-profit organization, Teryila oversees strategy and operations across Nigeria, Liberia, Ghana, and Côte d'Ivoire. Her leadership has driven innovative initiatives and capacity development programs for entrepreneurs.
Beyond her nonprofit work, Teryila serves on the board of Microbiz Microfinance Bank and leads the Risk Management and Audit Committee. She’s also a seasoned consultant, having guided businesses across sectors like agriculture, energy, and technology. Whether facilitating loan financing for small businesses or streamlining processes for national infrastructure projects, Teryila brings strategic thinking and heart to every project she embarks upon.
